Paper Topic

I've got a vague idea I'm hoping I can translate into a paper by Tuesday. What I would like to do is look at the idea of Discourse in the classroom and the effect if any the primary Discourse has on the ability to acquire secondary Discourses and the conflicts that exist between Discourses. Also whether or not a primary Discourse can inherently be dominant or nondominant and how we can make choices about our primary Discourse. Maybe this is too much. I'll be using Gee, Rodriguez, and Mori as texts. Gee will help to define Discourse, Rodriguez and Mori will help to illuminate how conflicts between Discourses effect how we can acquire Discourses and live in them comfortably, or not.
