Possible Essay Topics

After reading several of the posts already up on the blog, I think a good idea for a paper would be more generalized than what some people have suggested. That way, people can be creative and put their own touches on the ideas of Gee, Delpit, and Rodriguez. I think an essay summarizing one's own ideas of literacy Discourses and their applications would encompass all three authors. 

Also, I was thinking about a second part of the essay perhaps including what we already have learned in this class (Gere, Bartholomae, Eubanks & Schaeffer), and how we can compare it to our more recent articles.
