I wish I could come up with something more out of the box, but I am most interested in solidifying my conception of the articles by Gee, Delpit, and Rodriguez. The best way to do this, I suppose, would be to write a paper concerning student identities, and how they can be changed by the experience in the classroom—citing each Gee, Delpit, and Rodriguez, and comparing/contrasting the ideas of each writer.
I feel like there is a more "expansive" suggestion in me somewhere... if I uncover it by the end of the night, I'll make sure to post it!
The idea of writing about student identities and how they are challenged/changed/shaped by experiences in the classroom is a great idea. And if "expansive" suggestions come this evening, pls do share! ;)
